Admissions
Applications for a place at the school are welcomed throughout the year. We have termly intakes in September, January and April. As a rough guide, we aim to allocate places for September in June, for January in October, and for April in February. If you wish to apply, please click on the PDF below to download the application form. Alternatively, you can collect a form from the office.
As a state-maintained nursery school, we follow Camden’s admissions policy to allocate places. Priority is given to ‘looked after’ children then those with Special Educational Needs or disabilities, followed by siblings, then children who live nearest to the school.
We are open between 8.30am-5.30pm. The ‘core’ day is 9.30am-3.30pm. Breakfast and tea sessions are available at an additional cost. Places are available 39 or 46 weeks a year, or on an ‘extended’ day basis (8.30am-5.30pm), 46 weeks a year.
Parents are warmly encouraged to book a tour of the school with the Head teacher (or Deputy) to find out more, first-hand, about our outstanding provision and facilities. On receiving confirmation of a place, parents are asked to provide birth certificate, medical checks, and proof of address.
2-year-olds
In the ‘Toddler’ wing (2-year-olds), we can accommodate up to 36 children who can attend EITHER Camden-funded (15 hours/week scheme as 5 half-days or 2 consecutive full days) OR privately funded (5 half-days or 2,3 or 5 full days).
3 and 4-year-olds
In the ‘Kinder’ wing (3- and 4-year-olds), we can accommodate up to 104 children who can attend (9.30am-3.30pm, 5 days each week) or half-day (9.30am-1.30pm, 5 days each week).
Every ‘Kinder’ age child is entitled to 15 free hours from the DfE and additional funding options are available to increase those hours if families are eligible. Please see our Fees page or click the link below for more information.
